Anime LA 2006 January 27-29  Van Nuys, CA
			After a long off season, anime fans in Southern California are eager to have an event to go to.   Most of us don't want to wait around until summer for a convention.  It's a good thing that we have Anime LA, which is in its second year.  After a better than expected first year, this convention returned with a larger dealers' room, a game room, karaoke, a larger musical component and the use of the roomier areas of the Airtel Plaza Hotel. Last year, it was one of the better conventions that I had gone to, so I was excited to be back for this year's convention.  I fully expected this convention to be bigger and better this year.  Even so, I did not expect what actually happened here.
