There was tremendous growth in Anime LA's music program this year and there was an almost
continuous music program throughout each day. In all, there were 14 acts on the schedule and 16
shows spread out over the three day day convention. The music ranged from rock to hip-hop to anime
to industrial. There was just a big variety of music for this ambitious program. After a long day of taking
photos, it was nice to drop by the music room and listen to the performances at the end of the day.
Music programming is becoming a large part of anime conventions and, as a big fan of music, it's
something that I consider when selecting which conventions I go to. Of all the shows that I went to, I only
attempted to photograph two of them. Appearing in this gallery are bands Dig Jelly and Vaeidos.
